B1 Test Stand, SSC Roland Miller

Originally used to test the Apollo Saturn V F1 engines, the B1 Test Stand was later used to test the Space Shuttle main engines. In this view a boilerplate model of the space shuttle is seen from below. At the time this photograph was made, workers were dismantling the upper portions of this structure. They actually stopped working so I could record this image.
